I think that this painting is amazing. This cityscape is easier to see at first glance than the other one. It first caught my eye as a bunch of lines but once I concentrated on it I saw the buildings, streets and the trees. I like the black and white and gray tones used in the painting, I think that it made me concentrate more on the shapes and shadows than I would have if it had been in color.
