The form your atlas takes, Jesus, is entirely up to you. It probably will depend on your specific interests as well as your own sensibility of arranging things.
The way it evolves should be useful to YOUR thinking. You're already seeing a number of varieties on this site...so, no rules in terms of it "looking a certain way".
