I don't know why this image contines to pop up upside-down. Driving me crazy... you can still see the amazing delicacy of the drawing and the economy of brush stroke. I like, too, the distinct parallel between handwriting and drawing set up by the arrangement on each page.

This is so delicate and detailed, I think it's interesting that it was written from right to left without smudges. How did they do that?
