Chris is out of commission while he finishes moving into his new house, so I'll ask: What about this stuff are you into? Is it a particular visual style, or an attitude towards art/design?

Some of the reasons I made this post were....
Design wise these sites have been boiled down to a great simplicity that is intriguing to me as well as stimulating. Each site is built in a modular fashion that has been used to push the site foreword rather than holding it back. Another thing to note is that while all these sites have used modular design they all look very different.
One of the great things about these sites is the technical force that is driving them. They are on a leading edge! Their designers are striving to start a standards revolution that will free the Internet from the unpromising grasp of IE that would be Internet explorer. These sites posses a pure design that is free from the hinders of any one web browser.
