I found this canoe on my "a place i've never been" and the more i stared at it, the more it made me kind of sad. No one had used this canoe in such a long time and it was just sitting on the edge of the pond ready to be used. Maybe I am too tired and therefore too emotional:) In any case i had a good time doing this project:)

have you read this story?
this photo makes me think of william carlos william's red wheelbarrow. it brings to mind the same emotional pictures. except its a canoe.

When you assigned this to us i was kind of imagining it would be one of those really cool nature walks where i would see a really neat sunset and go "wow, that's really awesome" but it was kind of depressing... I guess that is ok right?
