these pictures seem well suited for a fugazi record (post in on the kill taker)
check out jem cohen and the dc style

ps. don't miss out

That Fugazi website did not contain any of those type of photos.
Maybe it's kind of harsh to say that someone's photos look like punk rock album covers? Maybe not. Red Medicine and I.O.T.K.Taker have some great shotties.

I really like your library shots, Alisa. I find myself being jealous of the kind of photographers who can take a totally ordinary place and make it look intriguing and sophisticated.
I've been to the library a million times, but your photos uncovered something new about it.
I guess it's just not my gift.

i like these photos quite a bit
and i didn't mean to be harsh
in fact i love jem cohen's work
instrument is one of my favorite films
yes, i was indeed thinking of red medicine and iotkt
but posted the website of live shows
just because i was so excited to discover that these are now available
i think the connection between fugazi and the library
is a theme of institution, government, perhaps elitism or awareness

Yeah. I figured.
I want to get a couple of those shows.
I still don't think they've ever made a better song than Waiting Room, though.

nice shots alisa... (even if this was a while ago).

i noticed some of the same themes of monotony, institution... even coldness (?) that come with the study areas in the library as well. i need a new digital camera.

props.
