I'd forgotten that they vary in size. Is that a pain when you're using them?

These are really good-looking designs. The architectural imagery lends itseld really well to a more abstract kind of effect than you usually see in currency.

I went to France after Euros has come into the country, actaully, and I still have some; I think they're pretty and don't really want to give them away ^_^ The different sizes are a little strange--especially since American money is like an army of green clones--but is an attraction, really.

I also like the fact that they use architecture and historical references that have meaning for different countries. One has a feeling of unification seeing much of Europe use the same currency, exchanging monuments and cathedrals with one another. In the US, we get large faces plastered in front of us with no allusion to any outside world. I think it would do us good to adopt a little bit of culture from around the world and abandon the, in my opinion, hideous attempts to colorize our money.
