I miss my cat. I took this picture of her before I left for college.

My Cat

I like the picture very much. Is is both endearing and slightly creepy as well. It looks a bit Cheshire Catish actually as the only very distinguishable bit is part of the face.

From your description, one has a feeling that it is meant to be a somewhat 'happy' picture if you will, a way to remember a pet. But if one had no information about it, then it could be a little unsettling to look at. The duality is very interesting.

The second interpretation is the one what stands out in my mind since what I first thought of upon viewing this picture was a short clip (The Cat with Hands) that I saw on the internet a few months ago. I confess it has little to do with the picture except that it is sort of creepy and has a mysterious cat, but that's the way my mind works ^_^

that movie certainly interesting. I've always viewed cats as a creature that has two lives, living one life during the day acting sweet and lovable, while at night when every one is sleeping it hunts and kills. I dont know what I'm thinking any more, I lost my train of thought

it's interesting how we can see so much w/ so little to look at.

I don't know if this picture was just a picture to bring to college or not, but it looks very mysterious. You can't really tell what mood its trying to give the viewer. It makes one wonder if the cat is dark and evil or good in a world of darkness.
