I found this picture while searching for random stuff. I think it's quite beautiful and could say any number of things...which is, of course, why I saved it. I'd like to hear different reactions to it. I also have another picture dealing with tears, so hopefully I can get that up here soon too. Maybe we can contrast the messages then.
(Hope this works.)

I have come across this image as well. I enjoy the contrast of light and dark. It almost seems as though the darkness is trying to contain the light, but nonetheless, some escapes. In many ways I find this image more vivid than the plurality of snapshot color photos.

I know I've seen this before as well. I, for reasons unknown, see it as if the face had once been all light, but that light is slowly melting off and disappearing below the borders of the picture. Like the tears are not just tears, but the substance of the picture that is gradually being lost. Whatever can be seen, it's still a lovely image.

As well as the other comments that were mention, I’ve also have seen this image on different profiles. I as well like the contrast along the positive and negative space. I like how the lights and dark areas around her face protrudes out more than others. The contrast plays well with the composition.

This is a beautiful picture. I think the way her face is not contained by the borders of the picture does alot.
